About This Call

The Gull Lake Area Community Volunteers present the 52nd Richland Art Fair on Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 9am to 4pm at Gull Meadow Farms, 8544 Gull Road, Richland, MI. This one-day outdoor fair features original fine artwork and original handcrafts from approximately 116 artists. Entrance to the art fair and parking are free. All proceeds fund educational, medical, dental, and emergency programs supporting individuals in the Gull Lake Community School district. Food is available for purchase on site.

This is a juried show. Applicants must submit 6 clear, close-up color photos of their work including a booth setup photo. All work must be original creations by the exhibiting artist, with original concept, design, and execution attributable to the displaying artist. Accepted items include fine original artwork and fine original handcrafts. Not accepted: crocheted toys, kitchen towels, pot holders, scrubbies, bag holders, hair bows (unless part of an outfit set), wreaths (unless made with all natural materials), painted signs using stencils, 3D printing, vinyl decals on premade items, and items deemed as craft. Due to high volume, jewelry exhibitors are limited. Any items for sale must be mostly handmade and included in submitted photos.

Booth spaces are 12' x 12' and assigned based on application date. Canopies with weighted tie downs are recommended; neither shade nor electricity are provided. Double booth spaces are available. Two artisans with different mediums may share one booth if both submit separate applications and are accepted by jury. Application fee is $25 (non-refundable). Early registration (by March 31st) is $125 per booth; after March 31st, $150 per booth applies. Shared booth artists each pay half the booth fee. Check-in is required onsite; early check-in/setup is Friday, July 24 from 4-6pm, or regular check-in Saturday from 6-8am. Artists must move vehicles to designated parking by 8:30am. Complimentary coffee, donuts, bottled water, and snacks are provided during setup and the event day. Flush bathrooms and handicap parking are available.
