Richard Black International Juried Print Exhibition: Transformative Impressions

The Richard Black Juried Print Exhibition invites artists to submit work exploring transformation through print and the boundaries of the printmaking medium. The exhibition will be juried by Raluca Iancu, Associate Professor of Art & Visual Culture (Printmaking) at Iowa State University, and Sang Eun Lee, Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at Drake University.

Artists may submit up to three works. All entries must be submitted through ArtCall.org by December 15 at 11:59 pm. Accepted artists will be notified via email by January 7. Accepted works must be delivered by January 28, either dropped off in person at the Anderson Gallery on Tuesday, January 27 between 12-4 pm or Thursday, January 28 between 9 am-noon, or shipped with a pre-paid return shipping label to arrive by January 28. All works must be exhibition ready and presented professionally.

The exhibition will be held at the Anderson Gallery at Drake University, 1310 25th Street, Des Moines, IA 50311, USA, from February 5 through March 13, 2026. The Opening Reception and Award Ceremony will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, 5-7 pm, with the awards ceremony at 6 pm.
