About This Call
The R.G. Endres Gallery, located in the Prairie Village Municipal Complex at 7700 Mission Road, features a different exhibition each month. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Artist receptions are held on the second Friday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
Eligibility: 2D and 3D artwork of any media is acceptable. Artwork must be original, not created in a class or under supervision of another artist, and not copied from published photos or photos taken by others without written permission. Copyright infringement will result in disqualification. Each artist must provide their own application; group applications are not accepted. If you wish to be displayed with another artist, note this in the application questions section. Artists who have previously shown in a monthly exhibit must wait one year before reapplying.
Exhibits are on display for approximately one month, with installations on weekends. Shows open on Monday and close on Friday. The gallery has 204 linear feet of wall space. Artists without enough pieces to fill the space may be paired with another artist. All artwork must be for sale, and the Arts Council will arrange sales. Sold pieces must remain on display until the end of the exhibit. Artist attendance at the opening reception is required. The Arts Council promotes exhibits through the Prairie Village Voice Newsletter, the City website, and local newspapers.
