R.G. Endres Gallery Exhibits 2024

The R.G. Endres Gallery is located in the Prairie Village Municipal Complex at 7700 Mission Road and is open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Every second month features a different exhibition. The gallery has 204 linear feet of wall space. Exhibits are on display for approximately two months, with installations taking place on weekends. Shows open on Monday and close on Friday. An artist reception is held on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m., and artists are required to attend.

Eligibility is open to artists 18 years of age or older within approximately one hour drive of the gallery. 2D and 3D artwork of any media is acceptable. Artwork must be original, not more than 2 years old, not done in a class or under supervision of another artist, and not copied from published photos or from photos taken by others without written permission. Copyright infringement will result in disqualification. Artists who have previously shown in a monthly exhibit must wait one year before reapplying. All artwork must be for sale. 2D artwork must be D-ringed, wired, and ready for hanging, with framed or unframed size not exceeding 25 square feet. 3D work cannot exceed 18 inches in any one dimension.

Submit a minimum of 12 samples and a maximum of 20 samples of your artwork. Entry fee is $25 (non-refundable). The gallery takes a 40% sales commission. Prices listed on the entry form are binding and cannot be changed after submission. Selected exhibitors will be notified and invited to bring their work for display on a schedule to be determined. Artwork not retrieved by 30 days after the exhibition closing will become property of the City of Prairie Village. A storage fee of $10 per day applies to artwork not retrieved by the specified date.
