About This Call
This exhibition is open to all artists over the age of 18 residing in the United States. Work must be made within the last two years and cannot have been previously shown at the Art Center. All work must be original and made by the artist or artist team, with collaborative works between artists eligible for inclusion. Artworks must connect to the natural world in some way, through media, subject matter, or concept. Jurors will approach the concept of the Natural World with an encompassing definition including traditional techniques and contemporary methods of making.
All media are eligible, although work must have a tie-in to the natural world, literally or figuratively, as subject matter. Installation artists should contact the center before applying to ensure compatibility of space. 2D artwork must not weigh more than 250 pounds or be bigger than 7' x 7'. Entry fee is $35 non-refundable for the submission of two pieces, with an additional $5 for up to 6 pieces total. Each artist or artist team may submit up to six pieces of work for jurying.
Awards include Best in Show ($300), Best in 2D including video ($150), Best in 3D including installation ($150), and Curator's Choice ($150). Awards will be announced at the Opening Reception on Friday, January 8th, 2026 from 6-8pm. All accepted work must remain on display until the end of the exhibition on April 10th, 2026. The Art Center retains a 35% commission on all sales. All artwork must arrive by end of day Tuesday, December 23rd, with the exhibition running from January 8th through April 10th, 2026.
