National Call for Entry presented by the Steamboat Springs Arts Council and the Yampa Valley Sustainability Council. The ReTree exhibition celebrates the natural beauty of the Yampa Valley and art inspired by nature, reflecting the values of community, collaboration, giving, repurposing, and environmental stewardship. Artists are invited to submit work inspired by trees, branches, planting, recycling, forests, and renewal. The two-month exhibition will be displayed in October and November 2015 at the Art Depot in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Two- and three-dimensional work is accepted. Artists may submit up to three pieces of original artwork created within the last 24 months. Size limitations: 2D maximum 30" x 30" framed; 3D maximum 30" x 30" footprint. All work must be wired and ready for hanging or display. Application fee: $25 for non-members, $20 for SSAC members. Work shown in prior exhibitions at SSAC galleries may not be entered. All artwork must be for sale with price indicated on the entry form. The SSAC will receive a 30% donation on sales by artist members and 50% on sales by non-members. Artists will be paid for sold work within 30 days of the close of show.

Application deadline: Monday, September 7, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Acceptances will be emailed September 9, 2015. Shipped artwork accepted through September 29; hand-delivered artwork accepted September 29, 9 a.m.–2 p.m. Artist statements and bios due upon delivery of artwork. Opening receptions: Friday, October 2 and Friday, November 6, both 5 p.m.–8 p.m. Gallery talks: Tuesday, October 6 and Tuesday, November 10, both 5:30 p.m. Exhibit ends and artwork pickup: Monday, November 30, 9 a.m.–1 p.m. All work will be insured for 70% of stated price while on premises.
