Resplendent

Pour-d is a contemporary gallery in Rockford, Michigan, located in a historic building in the downtown area. The gallery invites artists to submit work to Resplendent, its third juried exhibition of the year, which will be featured in the main gallery space. The exhibition runs from September 23 to November 4, 2022, with an opening reception on September 23, 2022. Featured artists are invited and encouraged to attend the opening reception.

All mediums and genres are considered, including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional work, digital art, photography, installation, mixed media, and new genres. Entry fee is $20 for up to 3 images. Submit 1-3 JPEG images (minimum 1000px at widest dimension, not exceeding 4MB per image). For 2D work, submit one JPEG per entry cropped to show only the artwork. For 3D work, submit up to three JPEGs (one full shot and up to two details) per entry. All work must be original, unsold, and the artist must own the sole copyright. Entries must be received by August 12, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Notifications are generally sent via email within 3 weeks of the call closing.

Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping. All shipments must include a prepaid UPS or FedEx return label in a reusable container. Work sent through USPS must include a shipping label; USPS stamps are not accepted. Artists within driving distance are encouraged to hand-deliver work. All accepted work must remain for the duration of the exhibit. 2D artwork selected for exhibition must be ready to hang with professional quality frames, mats, and wiring in good condition. Gallery retains a 40% commission on all exhibition sales. Payment to artists will be provided within 60 days after the exhibit concludes and receipt of full payment from the buyer.
