About This Call
The Red Bluff Art Gallery is seeking art that relates to animals that have been abandoned or abused and end up in a rescue center, or animals that artists have adopted. This is an open and inclusive international call for art from all artists in all mediums. The exhibition benefits the Accidental Animal Rescue and Sanctuary, with all proceeds going to feed and provide medical care for rescued animals. Entry fees also support the sanctuary's rainwater capture, native plant habitat expansion, and wildland maintenance.
Jury selected art will be included in a virtual exhibition and promoted to the gallery's online audience, collectors, and social media contacts. The exhibit will remain active on the website for a minimum of one full year. Artists retain 100% of proceeds from any art sales and can choose whether their work is for sale or not for sale. The entry fee is $28 for the first entry and $14 for each additional entry, up to a maximum of 20 image entries.
All fine art mediums are acceptable including painting, printmaking, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, fiber, digital and photography. Artwork must be original creations and not copied or created in art classes with instructor assistance. Entries are due December 18th, with notification of selections beginning January 23rd, 2025. The exhibition will be visible on the gallery website for a full year for continued art appreciation and artist resume development.
