Representing the Holy Name

Holy Name Catholic Church invites 2D artists from around the country to participate in an exhibition featuring representations of the Holy Name. Catholic artists are highly encouraged to participate, but all artists, regardless of religion, are welcome to submit. Artwork can be any representation—realism or abstraction—of the Holy Name, Christ, the Holy Spirit, or God the Father. All artwork must be respectful and original creations only. No photography or artificial intelligence-generated work is permitted.

Eligibility and Requirements: All artists 18 and over are eligible. Submissions must be 2D original artwork only, professionally framed or gallery-ready unframed. Framed artwork (outside dimensions) must not exceed 48 inches on any side. All artwork must be for sale, with artists receiving 60% of the sale price and the venue receiving 40%. Entry fee is $25.00 with an additional $10.00 media fee. Submit 1-2 images (JPEG or JPG format, 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, under 5 MB, sRGB color profile).

Deadline and Exhibition Dates: The submission deadline is October 26, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Artists will be notified of acceptance by November 3, 2024. Accepted artwork must arrive presentation-ready by November 25, 2024 if shipped, or be hand-delivered by 5 p.m. on November 27, 2024 at Holy Name Catholic Church Office, 504 Oak Street, Steamboat Springs.
