Reimagining Hope - Month of Photography Denver Festival

The Colorado Photographic Arts Center (CPAC) seeks photographs for Reimagining Hope, an outdoor exhibition that will be digitally projected on the Daniels & Fisher Tower as part of Night Lights Denver during the 2021 Month of Photography Festival. This call invites submissions of up to three photographs that capture your vision of hope in 2021. Your approach could be concrete, abstract, or depict a moment in time. Final images will be selected by Samantha Johnston, Executive Director & Curator of CPAC, and will be projected in the evenings over two weeks in March 2021.

Eligible media include film, scanner, screen-capture, digital camera, and any means of mobile photography. Video submissions are not allowed. Entry is open to regional, national, and international artists. The entry fee is $5 for up to 3 images. Applicant submission deadline is Saturday, January 23, 2021. Application notifications will be sent February 8, 2021. Projection dates are two weeks in March 2021 (exact dates to be announced).

Samantha Johnston has been the Executive Director and Curator at CPAC since 2015. She holds an MFA from Lesley University College of Art & Design and a BFA from Alfred University. She has curated exhibitions with contemporary artists and served as a reviewer at Houston FotoFest, Review Santa Fe, PhotoPlus New York, Photolucida, and other venues.
