Regulated Garbage - Juried Competition and Group Exhibition

Regulated Garbage is an open call for artists of all mediums and career levels from all locations worldwide. ShockBoxx Gallery in Hermosa Beach is seeking submissions for an upcoming group exhibition in May 2022. The top artist submissions will win cash prizes and featured wall space in the exhibition.

Submissions are judged based on creativity, originality, quality of work, composition, and overall artistic ability. Artists may submit a single entry of one image for $25, or up to eight images at $5 per additional image. Video and audio uploads are also available. Work sample requirements: 1-8 images, 0-5 audio files, and 0-5 video files (minimum 1 total sample required). Entry deadline is April 15, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. MDT.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three pieces selected by jury. Competition winners will be announced mid to late April via email. The exhibition will be featured on Artsy, and winners will be published on the PMS Artwork Past Competition Winners site for reference on resumes and future submissions. Selected artists will receive details via email regarding delivery of work to the gallery for the May 2022 exhibition.
