About This Call
Kelwood Contemporary Art is hosting a juried exhibition titled "Reflections on 2016," inviting visual artists to respond to the events of 2016. The exhibition provides a forum for thought-provoking and insightful work addressing the significant challenges Baton Rouge and the nation faced that year, including racial tensions, record-breaking floods, and political division.
The exhibition accepts entries in all media. Artists submitting work requiring digital or electronic presentation must supply their own electronics. Work samples may include up to 4 images and/or up to 2 videos, with a minimum of 1 sample and maximum of 4 total samples required. The entry fee is $30. The entry deadline is January 27, 2017. The exhibition runs March 2 - April 15, 2017. This is a national call for entries.
