Reflections

Artists are invited to submit original artwork for the "Reflections" exhibit at R Gallery in Boulder, Colorado. The show will run February 23 through March 27, 2022. The deadline for submission is January 30, 2022.

This exhibit seeks artwork in all styles and mediums that incorporate the theme of physical reflections. Reflections can be mirror images or a representation of how light, sound, or heat is cast back without being absorbed into a body or surface. Artwork should focus on pieces that evoke the sense of mirroring and physical reflections of physical or spatial entities, including textures, materials, colors, and concepts of reflections—either as literal representations or symbolic interpretations. Accepted categories include Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Photography, and Mixed-Media.

Eligibility: Colorado residents only. All entries must be of original design and personal execution. Pieces should be less than 30" wide including frame or case; only a few spots are available for pieces up to 48" wide. Entry fee is $30.00 plus a $5.00 media fee. Submit 1-10 images. Accepted works must arrive by February 20, 2022. All pieces must remain up for the duration of the exhibition and must be for sale. R Gallery charges a 50% commission on sales unless otherwise stated in preceding agreements. Work will be returned by April 15, 2022 unless otherwise agreed upon. Notification of acceptance: February 3, 2022. Artists reception: Friday, February 25, 2022.
