REEL ART

The Cultural Center of Cape Cod, a non-profit arts organization located in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts, invites artists worldwide to submit a short film to be exhibited between June 9-July 17, 2021. Multiple artists will be chosen to bring playing time to approximately 1 hour in length, with short films playing on a continuous loop in the Vault Gallery.

Eligibility is open to artists worldwide, both amateur and professional, in all genres of filmmaking with no specific theme. Films must be in English or with accompanying subtitles and not exceed 15 minutes in length. Work that is copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible. Submissions are due by Friday, May 28, 2021, with notification of acceptance by Friday, June 4, 2021. An Open House will be held on Saturday, June 12 from 2-5pm.

Entry fee is $20 for the first entry and $5 for each additional entry, with a maximum of 6 total entries. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance. Media must be submitted in MOV, MP4, WMV, 3GP, AVI, ASF, MPG, M2T, MKV, or M2TS format with minimum resolution 640 x 480 and maximum resolution 1920 x 1080. Aspect ratio must be 4:3 or 16:9, with maximum file size of 100mb.
