Redstone Labor Day Art Show

The Redstone Labor Day Arts Show is in its 29th year, held over Labor Day weekend (August 29-31, 2025) in the Crystal River Valley. The show runs Friday evening through Sunday afternoon, with a Friday evening reception (5pm-8pm) featuring appetizers and drinks served by community volunteers. The art show is open 10am-5pm Saturday and Sunday. Lunch is provided to artists on Saturday, and water and soft drinks are provided throughout the weekend.

The show is located in two event tents on the front lawn and back of the Redstone Inn. Hanging work will be presented on 90" wide x 71" high panels, with pedestals available for sculptures. Tables measuring 2.5' x 8' are provided for jewelry, pottery, and fabric art. Space outside the tent is available for large outdoor sculptures. Optional 10x10 tent space can be arranged for artists providing their own tent and displays. A locked storage room at the Redstone Inn is available for personal belongings and backup art. Security is provided during all show hours. Artist bios will be displayed in 5"x7" frames.

Application Requirements: Submit 3-5 images of fine art or fine crafts, artist bio, and work description. Entry fee is $10 (credited toward the $50 booth fee for accepted artists). Eligibility: Artists must be at least 18 years old. All work must be original artwork produced by the artist and professionally framed or presented with hanging wire for 2D pieces. No imports or manufactured goods allowed. Reproductions (prints and cards) permitted if original artwork is also available for sale. The artist must be present during the entirety of the show. Colorado-based artists are preferred. The top 15 selling artists are invited back to exhibit the following year.
