REDEMPTION at Skye Gallery

Skye Gallery announces a national call to artists for a juried art exhibition showing November 1 through December 7, 2019, in Providence, RI. Gallery owner Jonny Skye will lead selection of artwork exploring the exhibition title – REDEMPTION. The exhibition considers questions about healing and recovery: What is redemption? What does it look like? Is it possible or just a human construct? What is the price to repair? Is there a moral economy?

Open to all artists, at any level in their career and regardless of training, 18 years or older, residing in the United States. Accepting original artwork available for sale in any media except film/video. Entry fee is $30 for 1-3 image files. Deadline: September 20, 2019. Accepted entries will be announced September 30, 2019. The Opening Celebration is Friday, November 1 from 6-9pm.

Delivery and pick up of artwork is the responsibility of the artist. All work must be on premises by Friday, October 25, 2019. Skye Gallery will promote selected artists through press, print, and social media, and will plan and fund the opening event celebration. Art sales are split 50/50, with artists honoring the split agreement for 3 months after the exhibition. Skye Gallery carries $50K insurance for artwork in its possession.
