About This Call
The 60th Annual Red Wing Arts Fall Festival is presented by Red Wing Arts, a nonprofit arts organization. Celebrating its 60th year, the festival happens during peak fall color and typically attracts over 20,000 visitors. The festival features 125+ artist booths and artmaking in downtown Red Wing, MN, with all-day concerts and food trucks in nearby Central Park.
Festival dates are Saturday, October 10 (10 am-5 pm) and Sunday, October 11 (10 am-4 pm). Setup occurs Friday, October 9 (5-9 pm) and Saturday morning (6-9 am). Artist amenities include drive-up/day-before setup, booth breaks provided by volunteers, an indoor Artist Hospitality Room with complimentary food and facilities, an Artist Awards Party Saturday evening, overnight security Friday and Saturday nights, and live music and entertainment. The application fee is $35.00. Applications are due July 1, 2026 by 11:59 pm CST. Applicants must submit 5 images (a booth shot is required) and may submit up to 3 applications for this show.
Artists can apply in categories including Ceramics, Consumables (Bath, Body & Candles), Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, Leather, Metal Works, Two-Dimensional Mixed Media, Three-Dimensional Mixed Media, Painting/Drawing, Photography, Printmaking, Wood, Authors, Emerging Artist, and Community & Non-Profit. All work must be high quality, made by the applicant, well curated, professionally presented, and shoppable for a diverse audience. No machine-made or mass-produced work is permitted in most categories. Awards include 1 Larry Veeder Best of Show, 1 Second Place, and 1 Third Place, each with cash prizes, automatic entry, and exemption from application fees the following year. The Best of Show winner also receives booth fee exemption and artwork featured in festival marketing.
