About This Call

RED invites photographers to submit work in which red functions as something personal rather than symbolic or decorative. The exhibition seeks photographs that are quietly personal and visually honest—images where red emerges naturally from the photographer's way of seeing, lived experience, or emotional landscape. Red can signal love, danger, memory, intimacy, anger, devotion, loss—or something so private it resists explanation. The color may be central or incidental, bold or muted, literal or ambiguous. What matters is intention and restraint.

All photographic approaches are welcome, including fine art, documentary, conceptual, portraiture, landscape, and experimental work. Color photography only. Submit up to 10 images in JPEG or JPG format with a minimum size of 2100 px on the longest side. Entry fee is $25 for up to 4 images, with $4 for each additional image. All entries must be received by February 28, 2026. The online exhibition runs from March 20, 2026 through May 20, 2026, then archived on the gallery website.

Awards include First Place: $500 cash prize and an online solo exhibition; Second Place: $300 cash prize; Third Place: $200 cash prize. Juried by John Manno, gallery director. All photographers internationally over 18 are invited to apply.
