About This Call
This 18+ exhibition explores the truth of being human — the erotic, the awkward, the beautiful, the complicated, the funny, the haunting. Artists are invited to show work they've been afraid to show elsewhere, with explicit content welcome as long as it centers consenting adults and remains within legal and ethical standards for artistic expression. The show has clear boundaries: no depictions of minors — real, implied, or symbolic. This isn't shock for shock's sake, but rather authentic artistic expression.
The exhibition runs from February 28 to March 14, 2026, with an opening reception on Saturday, February 28 from 3–5pm. Artists can submit up to 10 pieces for consideration, with each submission requiring title, medium, dimensions, year completed, high-resolution images, and a short artist statement (100–200 words) explaining how the work fits the theme. All 2D, 3D, mixed media, photography, textiles and digital works are accepted, with a size limit of 10ft x 10ft — works must fit through a small garage door opening.
The exhibition operates on a 50/50 commission split on all artwork sold, with artists paying shipping and return shipping if unsold. While open to all artists regardless of location, identity, or background, submissions from queer artists, artists of color, and artists with different abilities will receive juried preference. Entry fee is $25 plus $5 additional media fee.
