RED! - A National Call for Art, All Media

Webster Arts invites art submissions for RED!, a national juried exhibition open to artists age 18 and older residing in the US or abroad. Artists are encouraged to interpret the theme broadly, with works depicting the color red, emotions, anger, love, or other responses to RED. The exhibition will consist of two- and three-dimensional work in all media. No floor or ceiling hung installations or video submissions are accepted.

Exhibition dates are September 15 - October 31. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this exhibit is hosted virtually with artist talks planned via YouTube and Facebook Live, and all selected artwork featured on social media. A virtual Zoom reception is scheduled for September 15, 2020. An independent juror, Edna Patterson-Petty, will select work for inclusion and for cash prizes. Artists may be selected for solo or 2-3 person shows in the future. Sales are encouraged, with Webster Arts receiving a 30% commission on all exhibition sales.

Entry deadline is August 24, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Entry fee is $15 for up to two entries, $5 for each additional entry up to a total of 10 images. Submit up to 10 JPEG digital images (1000-1920 pixels on longest side, 72 ppi/dpi resolution, 5 MB maximum file size). All artists will be notified by email on September 8, 2020. Work must be original conception and execution of the artist listed on the application and cannot have been previously exhibited at Webster Arts galleries.
