About This Call
At Hera Gallery we are seeing R.E.D.: red lines, red tape, red hats, red flags ….. Red as an energetic and aggressive primary color. Red as mysterious, fiery, intense and emotional. Red as a symbol of passion, war, hate, and love. Hera Gallery is looking for 52 selections of R.E.D. artwork for our 5th annual international open call virtual exhibition. The selected works will speak to the range of symbols and emotions the color red represents, specifically in conversation with current political and cultural states.
