Recreation Center Community Room Mural: Call for Artists

The City of Grand Junction and the Grand Junction Commission on Arts and Culture are seeking an artist to create an original painted mural for the Community Room at the new Community Recreation Center. The mural design should be more abstract and neutral on the wall inside the Community Room as it will be in a multi-use event space for wedding receptions, birthday parties, reunions, celebrations, etc. As it wraps around the hallway and opposite wall, it can expand to something more vibrant and colorful. The mural design should also utilize the color palette in the site details of this call.
