About This Call
Rebellion 2024 is the 3rd international juried group exhibition inviting visual artists globally to express their artistic definitions of rebellion in any form, shape, act, and composition. The exhibition seeks all real and imaginary rebellious expressions that challenge norms and inspire people to act for human rights, freedom, values, and dignity through artistic expression. This includes rebellious forms and colors, movements, rebellious icons and people, historical events, media and emotions, and rebellion in music, literature, and movies. All 2D and 3D art in any medium—including painting, sculpture, photography, fiber art, installation, digital arts, and more—in both representational and abstract styles are welcomed.
Selected artworks will be exhibited online from August 7 to October 7, 2024. Awards include intensive exposure and promotion to sell artworks, publication in a stylish colorful art catalogue (online and print versions), digital certificates, lifelong links to boost online presence and SEO, ratings and comments from art enthusiasts and potential buyers globally, exhibition posters, promotional badges, artwork reviews, and regular reports with analytics and engagement statistics. Some artworks may be published in art magazines and books. Each selected artist receives a free online profile page on the Biafarin platform.
Submission is free. If selected, a small fixed fee of USD 35 applies. Up to 6 artworks can be submitted, with a maximum of 2 artworks selected per artist. The exhibition uses a two-phase jury process: first phase is Yes/No selection, second phase uses a scoring model where jury members score artworks 1-5, with highest-scoring artworks in the "Yes" group selected. A money-back guarantee is available for selection fee payments until the exhibition's official opening day. This opportunity is open to all visual artists worldwide.
