Real People 2011

Real People 2011 is an exhibition open to all artists and media. Submitted work must depict the human form or face in some manner. No works previously accepted into a previous Real People show are eligible for entry.

The exhibit will be held at the Old Court House Arts Center in Woodstock, IL, located northwest of Chicago. The exhibit will run during August and September and include a gala Artists' Reception. Artists may submit up to 3 pieces for jurying, with each piece represented by one image. Up to two pieces may be chosen for the show. Cash prizes totaling more than $500.00 will be awarded for First, Second, Third Place and 3 Artistic Merit Awards.

All work must be for sale with a 30% sales commission for any works sold. All works must be available through the entire run of the show. Gallery size limitation is eight (8) feet in any single dimension and 250 lbs. The upper sales price limit is $5000. Entry fee is $35.00 for up to three images of three works. Discounts of $10 are available for current NAAC or Figurative League Members, and for artists who previously applied to Women's Works 2011. Jury notifications will be emailed to artists July 5-10, 2011. The exhibition opens August 5, 2011, with an opening reception on Saturday August 21, 2011 at 7p CST. The exhibition closes September 26, 2011, when work is available for pick-up or will be shipped to artists.
