Real or Imagined

A National Juried Exhibition at the Attleboro Arts Museum open to all mediums, sizes and interpretations of "Real or Imagined." The in-gallery exhibition will be on view June 16th–July 15th, 2021, with selections also presented online. Reception details are TBD and will be based on health and safety guidelines during June/July 2021.

Artists may submit a minimum of one piece but up to two different pieces overall. All mediums and interpretations from US artists will be juried, including 2D, 3D, installation, audio or video work. There is no size limitation per entry, however all submissions cannot weigh over 100 pounds each. Work must not have been previously exhibited at the Attleboro Arts Museum. Six prizes of $100 each will be awarded.

Entry fees are $18 for Museum members and $25 for non-members, covering up to two pieces. Artists can join as a member when paying for their submission. Submission deadline is Friday, April 23rd, 2021 at 11:59 PM, Mountain Time. All entries must be submitted through the online platform; entries that are emailed or hand-delivered will not be accepted. Artists will receive notification of the juror's decision by Wednesday, May 19th, 2021 at 7 PM, MT. Accepted work must be delivered to the AAM between May 20th and June 5th, 2021, from 10 AM – 3 PM, EST. All accepted work must be framed, gallery-wrapped or finished on the edges and ready to hang with a sturdy wire hanging system. In-person pick-up of exhibited work is available July 16th, 17th & 20th, 2021; 10 AM – 3 PM, EST. All art sales are subject to the Museum's commission of 30% for Museum members and 40% for non-members. The AAM will insure all work from the date of arrival through the stated pick-up dates, with maximum coverage of $2000 per piece and a $500 deductible payable by the artist.
