About This Call

The Ravenswood ArtWalk (RAW): Tour of Arts and Industry is a weekend-long celebration of the local creative community. Stretching from Lawrence south to Irving Park along Ravenswood Ave, RAW features open studios and galleries, pop-up performances and activations, and an Outdoor Arts Market featuring 75+ local makers, live music and activities, food, and a Malt Row beer garden. This application is for artists and food vendors looking to participate in the Outdoor Arts Market portion of RAW on Saturday September 12th and Sunday September 13th.

Accepted medium categories include: Bath & Body, Ceramics/Sculpture, Fashion/Accessories, Fiber, Home & Living Decor, Jewelry/Metalwork, Painting/Drawing, Photography, and Printmaking. Food vendor applications are also being accepted. There will be no jury process or monetary awards in 2026. All artists receive one 10' x 10' exhibition space and must bring their own tents, weights, chairs, tables, and all other items needed for their booths. All tents must be properly weighed down. Artists keep all sales income and are responsible for collecting and paying State of Illinois sales tax. RAW occurs rain or shine both Saturday and Sunday from 11:00am to 6:00pm. Portable bathrooms and hand-washing stations will be available on site.

Booth fees: GRCC Member Artists $250, Non-Member Artists $350, GRCC Member Food Vendors $300, Non-Member Food Vendors $400. The application fee is $15.00. Booth payments include one 10' x 10' exhibition space, company listing on the RAW website, RAW PR/Marketing pushes to city-wide publications and news outlets, and $25 City permit fee. Accepted artists who withdraw on or before August 28th, 2026 will be refunded booth fees minus a $100 administrative processing fee. No refunds will be given for withdrawals after 11:59PM Central Time on August 28th, 2026. Food vendors must provide a certificate of insurance listing the Greater Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce and the City of Chicago as additionally insured, City of Chicago DBACP Business Account Number, City of Chicago-issued 180-Day Special Event License or completed Temporary Food Vendor License Application, Summer Sanitation Certificate, and proof of current health inspection within 60 days before the event.
