Raleigh Fine Arts Society: 2019 North Carolina Annual Artists Exhibition

The Raleigh Fine Arts Society invites North Carolina residents ages 18 and over to submit original works created after January 1, 2017 for the 2019 North Carolina Annual Artists Exhibition. Artists may submit up to two works. Entry fee is $35.00. Entries must be submitted online through CaFÉ and finalized by January 6, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. MST.

Work specifications: Two-dimensional pieces may not exceed 72 inches including frame; three-dimensional pieces may be 72 inches wide and 84 inches high, not exceeding 200 lbs. Submit 1-6 digital images per work (one image for 2D work, up to three images for 3D work). Image files cannot exceed 5MB, with minimum 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi resolution. All works must be available for purchase, with RFAS receiving a 30% commission on sales.

Juror Chad Alligood will select three $1,000 Juror's Choice awards and one $3,000 Grand Prize. Selected works will be exhibited at CAM Raleigh and featured in a professional exhibition catalogue with a full page for each artist, including artwork photograph and up to 200 words of artist and biographical statements. The exhibition opens March 10, 2019. Selected works must be delivered in excellent condition and ready to install. Two-dimensional work must be properly framed and wired; three-dimensional work will be displayed on pedestals provided by CAM Raleigh. Artists must pick up unsold work the week of June 17 between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Shipped artwork will be returned after June 17 if accompanied by a prepaid return label.
