Raleigh Fine Arts: 2015 North Carolina Artists Exhibition

This exhibition is open to North Carolina residents ages 18 and over. Artists may submit two original works created within the last two years (2014-2015). Works previously exhibited in Raleigh Fine Arts Society exhibitions are not eligible. All work must be the sole work and exclusive property of the artist.

Submissions must include 1-6 digital images in JPEG format. For two-dimensional works, submit one image; for three-dimensional works, submit up to three images. File sizes cannot exceed 3MB, with a minimum of 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi resolution. Images must be properly cropped to show only the artwork. The maximum dimension for any work, including frame and sculpture, is 72 inches, and weight must not exceed 200 pounds. All artwork must be available for purchase, with RFAS receiving a 30% commission. The entry fee is $35.00, payable via PayPal. Online entry must be finalized and payment received by 5:00 pm on January 12, 2016.

The exhibition runs March 6 - April 28, 2016 at the Betty Ray McCain Gallery, Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts, 2 East South Street, Raleigh, North Carolina 27601. The juror is Bradley Sumrall, Chief Curator and Collections Manager of the Ogden Museum of Southern Art in New Orleans. Awards include three $1,000 Juror's Choice awards and a $3,000 Grand Prize. Notification letters will be mailed February 18, 2016. Hand delivery of accepted works is scheduled for February 29 and March 1, 2016. The Juror's Lecture and Awards Ceremony is March 6, 2016 at 4:00 pm, followed by the exhibition opening and reception at 5:00-6:30 pm.
