Radius 250 2024 - Artspace Gallery's 10th Biennial Regional Juried Exhibition

Radius 250 2024 is Artspace Gallery's 10th Biennial Regional Juried Exhibition, open to all themes and media from artists living and/or working within 250 miles of Richmond, VA. The exhibition takes place at Artspace Gallery, located at 2833-A Hathaway Rd., Richmond, VA 23225, from June 28 - August 17, 2024. The juror is Caroline Wright, founder of Caroline Wright Art Advisory.

Eligibility: Artists must be 18 years or older and live and/or work within 250 miles of Richmond, VA. Submissions are open to artwork in all genres, 2D and 3D, with artwork creation dates of 2021 or later. Entry fee is $35. Artists may submit 1 to 3 digital images (jpeg, jpg, or png format, 5MB per image). For 3D work, multiple views may be provided in a single image. For video entries, artists must provide display equipment if selected and upload a still image with a web address where the video can be viewed by the juror.

Artwork size requirements: All work must be able to fit through the gallery door (33 inches width by 82 3/4 inches height with a diagonal of 88 inches). Gallery wall height is 96 inches. Submission deadline is midnight, Friday, May 10, 2024 EDT. Jury dates are May 11-21, 2024. Notification of acceptance is Friday, May 24. Accepted work must be received June 16-22, 2024 (closed June 17-18). Installation is June 25-27. Opening reception and awards presentation is June 28 (5:00-6:00 Invitation Only Preview; 6:00-8:00 Public Reception; 6:30pm Juror Presentation). Additional reception July 26. Work pickup is August 17, 4:00-6:00pm or August 18, noon-2:00pm. Shipped work must be returned by September 14.

Prizes: 1st Place $300 plus a solo exhibition at Artspace; 2nd Place $200; 3rd Place $100; up to three honorable mentions at the juror's discretion. Contact: 804.232.6464 or [email protected].
