Radiant: Artist Alliance at SIP Art Space

This is a call for OMA Artist Alliance members to submit entries for Radiant: Artist Alliance at SIP Art Space, an exhibition at SIP Art Space in San Marcos, juried by Vicki Walsh. The exhibition is not themed, but artists are encouraged to submit work that represents their interpretation of the title "Radiant" – work that is brilliant, bold, and inspired in appearance or spirit. All submissions must be original works of art. No giclees or other reproductions are accepted, with the exception of limited edition prints and photography. Artwork may be in any media or style, and tasteful nudity is acceptable.

Artwork parameters: Wall-mounted two- and three-dimensional work must not exceed 60" height, 72" width, and 4" depth including frame. Free-standing sculpture must not exceed 36" height x 16" width x 16" depth. Works on paper must be framed with simple, neutral frames. Edges of unframed two-dimensional artwork must be finished or gallery wrapped. Artwork requiring special or unusual lighting, electricity, or non-standard installation methods cannot be accommodated. A maximum of two artworks per artist will be selected.

Entry fee is $20 for the first submission and $10 for each additional submission. Artists must be current OMA members with Artist Alliance affiliate membership to participate. Submission deadline is February 27, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. PST. Selected artists will be notified by March 12, 2024. Artwork drop-off is April 8, 2024 from 12:00–3:00 p.m. The artist's reception is April 20, 2024 from 4:00–7:00 p.m. The exhibition runs April 12–May 17, 2024.
