About This Call
Quad City Arts' Riverssance Festival of Fine Art is celebrating its 38th year as the premier fine arts festival of the Quad Cities, showcasing close to 100 of the top artists throughout the greater Midwest along with regional musical entertainment, delicious food from area restaurants, wine tasting booth, craft beer tent, and a free children's art tent. The festival is located in Davenport's Lindsay Park between River Drive and E. 11th Street on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River, nestled between the Village of East Davenport and a neighborhood of rolling hills and stately homes.
The festival accepts original artwork in the following categories: Ceramics, Drawing, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, Metal, Mixed Media, Painting (Pastels, Oils, Acrylics, Watercolor), Photography, Sculpture, Wood, Printmaking (lithography, screen-print, etching/engraving), and Other. All artwork must be original and created by the artist. Limited edition prints are permitted but must be clearly marked as a reproduction. Commercial exhibits, buy-and-sell items, items made from kits, and commercially molded articles are not permitted. Young emerging artists (under 23 years of age) are encouraged to participate and will receive special jury consideration.
Application deadline is March 16, 2026. The application fee is $30.00, and artists can submit up to 2 applications for this show. Five images are required (a booth shot is required). Accepted artists will be notified on April 6, 2026. The event takes place September 19-20, 2026. Single booth fee is $225; double booth is $450. Each exhibitor is assigned a 12-x12-foot area. Awards include one $1000 Best of Show award, five $500 Merit awards, and one $200 People's Choice award. A reception for participating artists will take place Saturday evening with light tastings and beverages. Artists breakfast is available Saturday and Sunday mornings beginning at 7am. Boxed lunches from a local provider can be pre-purchased for delivery to booths both days. All artists are responsible for paying Iowa sales tax (7% in Davenport). Artists must supply all necessary display equipment, and all canopies are required to be white. Artists are required to display during all public event hours on both days. There is no rain date.
