PVAC The Winter Show 2019

The Winter Show is a juried all-media exhibition hosted by Palos Verdes Art Center, open only to current members in good standing. The exhibition runs December 6, 2019 through January 18, 2020. Juror David Parsons, an MFA graduate from New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University and professor at CSU Dominguez Hills, will select works for the show.

Artists may submit up to 3 pieces for a $35 entry fee. Two-dimensional work must not exceed 50" W x 60" H including framing and weigh no more than 30 pounds. Three-dimensional work must not exceed 72" x 36" x 36" and weigh no more than 150 pounds. All media is eligible. Two-dimensional work should be ready to hang with D rings and wire or French brackets. Wrap canvas of 1.5 inches or thicker need not be framed but should be painted on all sides. All work must be original to the artist. Submission is online via CaFe with 1-9 images required depending on dimensionality.

Selected works must be hand-delivered to the Palos Verdes Art Center main gallery on December 2nd between 9:00 and 11:00 am. Juror selections will be announced by November 21st. The opening reception is Friday, December 6th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Pick up of artwork is Monday, January 20th from 9:00 to 11:00 am. PVAC takes a 25% commission on all sales.
