Purely Abstract 2021

Las Laguna Art Gallery is seeking abstract art for an exhibition running May 6 to May 29, 2021. The submission deadline is April 11, 2021, with artist notification on April 17, 2021. An artist reception will be held on May 6 from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.

This call is open to all local, national, and international artists, both professional and amateur. Acceptable mediums include: Acrylic, Airbrush, Charcoal, Collage, Color Pencil, Computer Art, Digital Art, Digital Photography, Drawings, Encaustic, Fiber Arts, Glass Art, Graphite, Illustration, Mixed Media, New Media, Oil, Pastel, Pen and Ink, Photo Assemblage, Printmaking, Sculpture, Traditional Photography, Video, and Watercolor. Artists may submit up to 20 images and/or up to 8 videos (minimum 1 total sample required).

Entry fee is $35.00 for up to 3 entries, with an additional $2.00 per image/media file. All artists who submit will be accepted and have at least one submitted work posted and promoted on the gallery's website. A select number of artists will be chosen to send their work to the brick and mortar gallery in Laguna Beach, California for the in-person exhibition. Jury-approved artwork will be offered promotional marketing opportunities. Commission split is 65% to artist and 35% to gallery.
