About This Call
The Punta Gorda Sullivan Street Craft Festival takes place in the charming city of Punta Gorda, nestled by the shores of the Peace River and the Gulf of Mexico in Southwest Florida. Positioned between Sarasota and Fort Myers on Florida's western coastline, this event has evolved into a beloved winter tradition along Sullivan Street in Downtown Punta Gorda, consistently attracting a large purchasing audience. The festival features booth spaces of 10x10, 10x15 and 10x20 with show hours Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm. Public admission is free with no gate fee, and daytime parking is available for RVs and standard size vehicles.
This competitive juried show is limited to original, handcrafted work directly created by the approved individual artist. The booth fee is $425.00, with a $50 deposit option if the event is more than 30 days away. Applications require 4 images including 3 images of work and 1 image of 10x10 outdoor display with white canopy tent, plus a $20 non-refundable jury fee. Accepted mediums include candles, ceramics, clothing, fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metal art, mixed media, paintings, photography, sculpture, wood, and many others. The artist must be present throughout the event, and all tents must be white with professional displays that look like a "mini" art gallery.
American Craft Endeavors has been Florida's leading producer of juried street craft festivals for over 40 years, with a reputation for bringing out a high-end buying crowd. The show features overnight security, and promotion includes working with News Press and Charlotte Sun. Applications are juried in order of date received with an ongoing jury process, and categories may close once maximum allotment is reached.
