About This Call
A call for Book & Paper Arts exhibition. Book Arts submissions may include handmade artist's books or book art objects demonstrating excellence in bookmaking or altered book techniques, books made of any medium, letterpress printing, bookbinding, book art sculptures, and related work. Paper Arts submissions may include innovative or traditional explorations of paper sculpture, papermaking, and related work.
Juror: Donna Seager of Seager Gray Gallery. Artists will be notified by email of acceptance by March 1, 2024. The exhibition runs April 6 - May 5, 2024. Awards: 1st Place $500, 2nd Place $300, 3rd Place $100, and two $50 Coordinators' Awards.
Eligibility: Open to artists worldwide. Maximum of 3 pieces per artist. All work must be original and not previously shown at SebArts Gallery. Wall-mounted work must include fixtures and be ready to hang. Entry fee: $35 per entry plus $2 media fee. Work samples: 1-3 total samples (up to 3 images, 1 audio file, or 2 video files). Accepted pieces must be shipped to arrive by March 29, 2024, or hand-delivered by April 2, 2024. Images must be 5MB or less in JPEG format. Each piece can have one main image and up to two additional images showing perspective or detail. Include dimensions and weight with submissions.
