About This Call
Rowan University is seeking artists for a public art commission as part of the State of New Jersey's Public Arts Inclusion Program. The artwork will be embedded in the terrazzo floor of a two-story entrance lobby in the new College of Engineering Addition. The lobby features an entrance from the entrance plaza, located directly under a glass bridge connecting the new building to Rowan Hall. The terrazzo floor is prominently visible upon entry and from the balcony and meeting room that overlook the space from the second floor.
The designated area for the artwork is 2,950 square feet. The project budget is $150,000 with a completion date of November 2016. Applicants must submit 6 images as work samples. National eligibility applies. The application deadline is April 23, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. MDT.
