Providence Art Club: Nationwide All Media Open Juried Exhibition

The Providence Art Club invites artists to submit their strongest two-dimensional or three-dimensional works to the Nationwide All Media Open Juried Exhibition. This exhibition is open to living artists nationwide. Recent works in all media are encouraged. Entries must be original works completed within the last 4 years and available for sale. All two-dimensional works must be wired on the back; clips and loop hooks are not acceptable. Works not properly prepared for installation will not be installed. No work can exceed 100 lbs. The Providence Art Club reserves the right to reject work that is deemed unstable, differs from the submitted digital image or description, or is not professionally presented.

The entry fee is $20. A total of $5,000 in awards will be distributed, with the exhibition juried by Claudia Seymour, a painter in oil and pastel and President Emerita of the Salmagundi Club. Accepted artists will be notified by March 28, 2014, and must deliver work to the gallery between April 4-11. The opening reception and awards ceremony will be held April 27 from 2-4 pm. Work removal is scheduled for May 12-16. Sales commissions are 25% for PAC members and 40% for non-members. The Providence Art Club carries blanket insurance covering fire, theft, and breakage, with coverage valued at 2/3 of the sale price, not to exceed $250 per piece. Shipping costs and return shipping arrangements are the artist's responsibility.
