Providence Art Club National Open Juried Exhibition 2019

The Providence Art Club invites artists from throughout the United States to submit their recent work for an open juried exhibition. This year's show will celebrate the best in contemporary art by makers from throughout the United States regardless of theme, style, or media. Founded in 1880, the Providence Art Club is one of the oldest arts organizations in the nation and the first such Club to be co-founded by women and men.

The exhibition is juried by Helena Gómez de Córdoba, Associate Curator at the Museo de Arte de Ponce in Puerto Rico. Fourteen prizes totaling $6,000 in awards will be given, including a Best in Show Prize of $1,000. The exhibition runs from June 22 to July 19, 2019, with an opening reception and awards ceremony on Saturday, June 22 from 4-6pm.

Eligibility is open to any artist living and working throughout the United States, its territories, protectorates, and provinces. Entry fee is $35 ($25 for PAC members). Entries must be original artworks completed within the last four years. Submit 1-2 digital images. All works in the exhibition must be for sale. Accepted artists will be notified on May 24. Delivery of accepted work is required between June 3-21, 2019. The Providence Art Club carries insurance covering fire, theft, and breakage at 2/3 of the sale price, not to exceed $250. Sales commission is 25% for PAC members and 40% for non-members.
