Providence Art Club All Media National Open Juried Exhibition - Earth Elements

The Galleries of the Providence Art Club invite artists to submit their strongest two-dimensional and three-dimensional works to the All Media Juried Exhibition "Earth Elements." Recent works in all media are encouraged. The exhibition is open to living artists nationwide. Entries must be original artworks completed within the last four years. All works in the exhibition must be for sale. Works should focus on natural themes and utilize traditional processes and techniques; artists are encouraged to enter works created using natural materials.

The entry fee is $20.00 for up to three images or three pieces of work. You may submit one image with your entry or up to three images (either of different works or multiple angles of a single work). Three-dimensional works cannot be heavier than 100 lbs and must have hanging apparatus secured to the artwork. Works not properly prepared for installation will not be installed. The Providence Art Club reserves the right to reject works that are deemed unstable, that differ from the submitted digital image and description, or that are not professionally presented.

The exhibition offers $5,000.00 in awards. The juror is Allison Lee Newsome, a ceramist and educator with an M.F.A. in ceramics from the Rhode Island School of Design. Accepted artists will be notified by February 23, 2015, and work should be delivered to the Providence Art Club, 11 Thomas Street, Providence, RI 02903 between February 23-March 5 between 12-4pm. The opening reception and awards ceremony is March 8, 2015 from 2:00-4:00pm. Work removal or return shipping arrangements must be made between April 6-12, 2015. Sales commission is 25% for PAC members and 40% for non-members. The Providence Art Club carries insurance covering fire, theft, and breakage at 2/3 of the sale price, not to exceed $250.
