Providence Art Club All Media National Open Juried Exhibition - COLOR

The Galleries of the Providence Art Club invite artists working in all media to submit their strongest two-dimensional and three-dimensional works to the All Media Juried Exhibition "COLOR". Recent works that utilize color in striking, inventive, and expressive ways are encouraged. The exhibition is open to living artists nationwide. Entry fee is $25.00 for up to two images or two pieces of work; you may submit one image or up to two images.

Over $3,000.00 in awards will be given, including a Best in Show prize of $1,000. The exhibition juror is Dominic Molon, Richard Brown Baker Curator of Contemporary Art at the RISD Museum. Entries must be original artworks completed within the last four years. All works in the exhibition must be for sale. Three-dimensional works cannot exceed 100 lbs. The Providence Art Club reserves the right to reject works that are deemed unstable, that differ from the submitted digital image, or that are not professionally presented.

Accepted artists will be notified by March 23, 2016, and work should be delivered to the Providence Art Club, 11 Thomas Street, Providence, RI 02903 between March 25-31, 2016 from 12-4pm. Bio material is due March 28, 2016. The opening reception and awards ceremony will be held April 3, 2016 from 2:00-4:00pm. Work removal or return shipping arrangements must be made between April 25-29, 2016. Shipping costs are the artist's responsibility; a check for return shipping including insurance must accompany work. The Providence Art Club carries blanket insurance covering fire, theft, and breakage with a value of 2/3 of the sale price, not to exceed $250. Sales commission is 25% for PAC members and 40% for non-members.
