PRISMA ART PRIZE — ROME — 19th EDITION

Prisma Art Prize is an international platform dedicated to painting and two-dimensional works. The prize welcomes artists worldwide and celebrates the many directions painting can take today—traditional or experimental, intimate or bold—with a focus on strong visual research. This open call is for painters, illustrators, printmakers, and all traditional 2D artists.

Annual awards include €2000 in cash prizes distributed across four quarterly calls, a group exhibition at Contemporary Cluster in Rome (Late 2026), and solo shows through the Isorrophia Gallery Prize and Pallavicini–Dettori Prize. Additional opportunities include artist residencies at Dar Meso (Tunis), Casacon (Sirolo, Italy), and Osservatoriomaree Residency Prize, as well as catalogue publication, interviews, and other partner prizes to be announced.

Submissions are open from February 6, 2026 through May 10, 2026. Entry fees are €34 for 1–3 artworks and €5 for each additional artwork (up to 8 artworks total). Payment options include PayPal, credit card, and bank transfer. Winners will be announced in May 2026, with exhibition selections and annual prizes announced in September 2026. The annual exhibition takes place in Late 2026. Curated by Domenico De Chirico with artistic direction by Marco Crispano and production by Il Varco Creative Hub.
