Printwork 2017

Artists Image Resource (AIR) is accepting entries for Printwork 2017, a national juried exhibition of contemporary printmaking. This exhibition is open to all artists living in the United States, 18 years of age and older. All artwork must be original and completed within the last 3 years, not exceeding 48" in any dimension. Entries must incorporate traditional, digital, or experimental printed media. Photographs are not accepted, but artist's books are welcome. Because of the political climate, special consideration will be given to socially and politically engaged print work.

Entry fee is $25 for 3 entries, with an additional $5 for each work beyond 3, up to a maximum of 6 images. Accepted works must be received by November 30, 2017. The exhibition runs from August 6 through February 4, 2018, with an opening reception on December 8, 2017. Juror Joseph Lupo will select works and announce cash awards during the opening reception. The AIR Board of Directors will also choose one artist for an additional exhibition opportunity. AIR will receive 20% of any sales. Artists are responsible for shipping costs and insurance during transit. All accepted work must be professionally framed, wired, and ready to hang.
