Primal III: The Sacred Triangle

Primal III: The Sacred Triangle is a curated exhibition at Vestige Concept Gallery in Pittsburgh, PA. This show aims to highlight the mystical relationship between numbers and patterns within works of art. Works do not have to exclusively involve triangles but should be evocative of the principles of numerology or powers of 3. This could include religious motifs, ancient relics, sacred geometry and symbolism, hidden meanings, the Trinity, dark arts, works that are triptychs, and exploration of three-dimensional work that may challenge the perspective of audiences.

The gallery accepts artwork from any medium, including work by Student, Emerging, Mid-Career, and Professional Artists. Work should follow and/or augment the theme of the exhibit and should be attractive for audiences and collectors by providing a degree of artistic value and merit. Sculptural and 3D works are welcomed. The in-person opening reception will be held Saturday, October 7th, with the show running through November 12th.

Eligibility: Open to artists over age 18 in the United States and Canada. Work must be original, ready to display, and not previously shown at Vestige Concept Gallery. All work must be for sale. No Giclees or reproductions will be accepted unless the work itself is a Giclee or digital work of art. Print works must have an edition number. Entry fee is $28 for two entries; additional entries are $5 each. Artists may submit up to ten entries. Shipped works must arrive by October 5th. Vestige Concept Gallery retains a 30% commission on sales. Artists are responsible for shipping costs and insurance to and from the gallery.
