Prairie Village Art Show 2026

The Prairie Village Art Show is celebrating its 69th year and is the second-oldest show in Kansas City. Located in the heart of the Kansas City metro area and surrounded by upper-income demographics, the show is well-attended and draws patrons from the entire metropolitan area. The show features only 100 artists who come from all parts of the country, and this shopping area was developed by the same company that built the Country Club Plaza.

The show runs Friday, May 29, 2026 (5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.), Saturday, May 30, 2026 (10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.), and Sunday, May 31, 2026 (11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.). All spaces are 10' by 10' with electricity included and storage space available. Booth fees are $375 for standard spaces, $475 for corner spaces, $850 for double spaces, and $950 for double corner spaces. Artists are required to have adequate weights for tents and must supply all display materials.

The jury process is blind with a panel of three jurors drawn from museum curators, gallery owners, professional artists, and art educators. Applications close March 1, 2026, with jury notifications sent March 16, 2026, and booth fees due April 15, 2026. Artist amenities include 24-hour security, power, booth sitters, artist's lounge with snacks and drinks, Saturday breakfast, Saturday night dinner delivered to booths, and van/RV parking with overnight parking allowed. Awards will be given on Saturday, May 30, 2026.
