PPS Members Only Online Juried Show

This online juried show is open to all active members of PPS with fully paid dues prior to October 1, 2023. Members must provide a US mailing address. Up to four entries can be submitted by each active member, with guaranteed acceptance of at least one painting and a maximum of two accepted per artist.

Entry fees are $25 for two entries and $10 for each additional entry up to four. Awards include First Place $400, Second Place $300, Third Place $200, Piedmont Award $200 (for members living within 200 miles of the Piedmont Triad area), PS of Cape Cod Award $150, PSNC Award $150, four Honorable Mentions at $50 each, and Jack Richeson Pastel Set Awards ($175 value) for Best Landscape, Best Still Life, and Best Portrait/Figurative.

Artwork must be soft and/or hard pastel on any surface, with a minimum of 80% pastel as the top layer. Oil pastels are not accepted. Work must be original, completed in the last three years, and not previously shown in NC shows or awarded in previous IAPS Member society shows. No images from published or internet photographs are allowed, though another photographer's reference material may be used with written permission. Compositions should not be based on another artist's work, and paintings executed in workshops or classes under another artist's supervision are not eligible.

Submit high-quality JPEG image files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Crop images to show only the artwork without matting, frames, or background. Ensure images are oriented correctly. Entry fees are non-refundable and must be submitted and paid by the entry deadline of October 12, 2023. Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline.
