About This Call
The Louisa Arts Center invites artists to submit work for the Power of Water Open Show. Online registration is open from February 22 through May 21, 2026 by 5:00 p.m. In-person art submissions will be accepted on May 23, 2026 from 9-11 a.m. The opening reception is scheduled for June 12, 2026 from 6-8 p.m.
Entry fee is $5 per entry, with a maximum of $15 per artist. Students under 18 have fees waived. Artists may pay by check or cash at the time of art drop-off by selecting the "PaybyCheck" coupon during registration. Artists can enter online via artcall.org or submit work in person on May 23. Volunteers will be available on art drop-off day to assist with photography, software questions, and other technical support.
Gallery hours are Tuesdays-Fridays from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and one hour before theater events. Art pickup is scheduled for July 18, 2026 from 9-11 a.m. For questions, contact [email protected] or call 540-967-2200 during box office hours (Tuesday-Friday 11 a.m.-2 p.m.). If corrections to entries are needed after the deadline, email [email protected] with "ArtCall Correction" in the subject line by the Wednesday before the opening reception.
