About This Call

The Powderhorn Park Neighborhood Association (PPNA) presents the 34th Annual Powderhorn Art Fair on August 2nd and 3rd, 2025. The Powderhorn Art Fair is a juried fine art and fine crafts festival in Minneapolis, Minnesota's beautiful 66-acre Powderhorn Park. The Community Showcase will feature 30 local artists with varying ties to the Powderhorn Park Community or other neighborhoods across Minneapolis and St. Paul. This is just one of several artist categories that bring this iconic, eclectic, and well-attended regional art fair to life.

Over the past 34 years, the Powderhorn Art Fair has showcased thousands of juried artists across the Midwest, spanning 20 artistic mediums. The fair's continued success is enhanced by PPNA's partnership with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board and unwavering support from the Powderhorn community. PAF uses a "blind" jury of 3 judges who score based on their perception of Impact, Style/Design, and Technical Skill. During the fair, judges will review artists' work on-site on Saturday to determine award recipients.

Application deadline is Friday, February 28th, 2025 with a $25 non-refundable jury fee. Notification to exhibit by Monday, April 7th, 2025, with confirmation deadline Monday, April 21st, 2025 and $110 non-refundable booth fee due. Community Showcase artists must currently reside in Minnesota, be 18 years or older, have a Minnesota Tax ID number, and provide their own 10' x 10' white tent, tables, chairs, and merchandising materials. All work must be original, designed, and created by the accepted artist. Best in Show and Spirit of Powderhorn winners are invited back to apply to the 2026 show with waived jury and booth fees if juried in.
