About This Call
The Powderhorn Park Neighborhood Association (PPNA) presents the 35th Annual Powderhorn Art Fair on August 1st and 2nd, 2026, in Minneapolis, Minnesota's 66-acre Powderhorn Park. This juried fine art and fine crafts festival features approximately 190 artists displaying work around the tree-lined Powderhorn Lake, along with food vendors and community organizations. The fair attracts artists from over twenty states and 200 cities. Proceeds support programs that strengthen the community through collaboration between PPNA and the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB).
Three artist categories are available: Main Exhibitor (maximum 150 artists), Community Showcase (maximum 35 artists), and Youth Showcase (maximum 5 artists). Accepted mediums include clay, digital art, drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media, painting, paper, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and wood. The fair does not accept buy-sell items, mass-produced items, lotions, soaps, or country craft items. A blind jury of 3 judges scores applications based on Impact, Style/Design, and Technical Skill. The jury fee is $25 per category (non-refundable), and 4 artwork images are required.
Application deadline is Saturday, February 28th, 2026. Notification of acceptance occurs by Monday, April 13th, 2026, with a confirmation deadline of Monday, May 4th, 2026. The booth fee is $275 for an 11' x 11' space. Setup is Friday, July 31st from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with the fair running Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Only one booth space per artist is allowed, and artist presence is required for the entire show. During the fair, judges will review artists' work on-site on Saturday to determine award recipients.
