Pour It in Pink

Jane's Art Center, in partnership with Halifax Health, invites ceramic artists to submit work for "Pour It in Pink," a community exhibition for Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October). This exhibition aims to celebrate resilience, raise awareness, and inspire hope through handmade ceramic art.

Participating artists are asked to create a pouring vessel (such as a pitcher, teapot, creamer, or any functional or sculptural vessel designed to pour) using any clay body. All work must be glazed in pink as a tribute to breast cancer awareness. The exhibition is open to all ceramic artists working in the U.S. Artists may submit up to 3 entries, with each piece no larger than 18" tall x 9" wide. All work must be original and available for sale.

Submission deadline is September 5, 2025. Notification of acceptance will be sent September 10, 2025, with artwork delivery due by September 25, 2025. The exhibition opens October 4, 2025. Entry fee is $15 (non-refundable) with $5 per additional entry. Submissions should include high-quality images of the pouring vessel(s), an artist statement, and completed entry form. A portion of exhibition sales will benefit Halifax Health, supporting those affected by breast cancer in the community.
