Potters Market at the Mint 2025

The Mint Museum announces the return of Potters Market at the Mint (PMM), to be hosted at Mint Museum Randolph on Saturday September 27, 2025, from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. PMM will feature the work of North Carolina ceramicists producing both functional and conceptual wares. This year's event will be juried by Mindy Solomon (Mindy Solomon Gallery), Nancy Chavis (Director/Curator and Lecturer at UNC Pembroke), and Kevin Snipes (Ceramic Artist). The Mellanay Delhom Award ($1,000 cash and automatic entry to next Potters Market), The Daisy Wade Bridges Award ($750), and the Best New Exhibitor Award ($500) will be presented.

The 2025 show will feature 55 booths in a tent with a 100'x150' footprint, offering a mix of 10'x10' and 10'x15' booth sizes with optional premium location upcharges. The primary event is a one-day sale on Saturday, with a Friday Night Preview Party that will also allow sales. Load-in and set-up takes place on Friday, September 26, with assigned load-in times and setup completion required by 5:00 PM for judging.

The show is open to ceramic artists living and working in North Carolina, with both primary residence and studio location in the state. Applications require six images of distinct works, an application fee of $40.00 (nonrefundable), and can be submitted as individual or group applications. Applications open January 7th, 2025 at noon and close February 15th, 2025 at midnight, with juror selections announced February 21st, 2025. All participating artists must be present for the full day Saturday and Friday evening preview event.
